Starkey

Starkey is the only hearing aid manufacturer based in the United States (located in Minnesota). Their latest hearing aid models include the Livio and Evolv AI. The Livio is made with integrated sensors which track health-related activities like monitoring steps and exercise. Additional features include: wireless connectivity, tap controls, a rechargeable battery, and mask mode features to clarify speech through masks. The Evolv AI is a hearing aid that is offered in different styles including both in-the-ear and behind-the-ear options. This device performs 55 million personalized adjustments each hour and is designed to deliver sharp and crisp sound quality.

ReSound

ReSound is known for producing hearing aids that create organic hearing experiences. Their latest devices include Omnia and One. The Omnia is designed for people who struggle to hear in noisy environments. It delivers natural sounds (including the wearer's voice) and is available in different styles. There are also rechargeable and non-rechargeable battery options. Another ReSound hearing aid is the One which is a unique behind-the-ear (BTE) device. The One has an internal microphone worn in the ear canal (compared to behind the ear). This is designed to mirror the natural hearing process. Additional features include Bluetooth technology, a rechargeable battery, and enhanced processing speed and capacity.

Oticon

Oticon is an industry-leading brand that is invested in supporting people with hearing challenges to living actively. Their latest hearing aid models include the Own and More. The Own is an invisible-in-canal (IIC) hearing aid and is one of the smallest devices available. It is embedded with Oticon’s BrainHeairng technology which provides the brain with access to 12 million real-life sounds. This offers rich and complex soundscapes, contributing to real-life sound quality. Another Oticon hearing is the Oticon More which is equipped with an advanced processing chip. This increases processing speed, sound quality, and sound localization. Additional features include wireless connectivity, a rechargeable battery, and tinnitus management features.

Signia

Signia is recognized for its sleek designs and also for maximizing the latest hearing technologies. Their recent hearing aid models include the Insio Charge Go AZ. This is an in-the-ear (ITE) hearing aid that boasts industry-leading features: rechargeable battery options, wireless connectivity for both Android and iPhone devices, contactless charging, as well as access to a virtual assistant. This hearing aid uses Signia’s Augmented Focus technology which processes speech and background noise separately. This technology minimizes background noise while delivering enhanced sound quality.

Widex

Widex is one of the largest hearing aid brands in the world, it is also family-owned. They are known for innovating hearing aid technology. Widex offers a significant range of hearing aids and their latest hearing aid is the Widex Moment. Coming in various styles, the Moment utilizes WidexPureSound technology which accelerates processing speed while also delivering natural sounds. This device is also equipped with Widex’s SoundSense Learn technology which automatically switches to optimal settings for specific environments.

Unitron

Located in Canada, Unitron Hearing produces award-winning hearing aids that provide maximum levels of personalization. Unitron’s latest device is the Moxi Blu which is made with their advanced signal processing system. This provides greater memory and connectivity options. Additional features include sound optimization, wireless connectivity, tap controls, and a rechargeable battery. Unitron also offers Bluetooth hearing aids. It was the first brand to provide a universal wireless solution that can stream audio directly from any Bluetooth-enabled audio source.

Phonak

Based in Switzerland, Phonak is known for developing innovative hearing solutions that expand the possibilities for hearing aids. Their latest hearing aids include the Phonak Audéo Life and Lyric. The Audéo Life is the world’s first waterproof hearing aid that also delivers natural and crisp sound. It is a receiver-in-canal (RIC) hearing aid that features tap controls, Bluetooth connectivity, a new charger case, a rechargeable battery option, and smart apps. Another cutting-edge Phonak hearing aid is the Lyric, the first ever 100% invisible hearing aid. The Lyric is worn deep in the ear canal and is professionally inserted by a hearing healthcare specialist.

  I had been able to obtain hearing aids from other resources. But with a serious case of tinnitus and a loss of hearing high pitched sounds, I decided to try and enhance my quality of life by seeking a stronger solution to those problems. Jeff has absolutely, and professionally, helped with those ailments. His treatment and relationship with me is professional yet "old school" caring and courteous. Any problem is quickly taken care of. While there is no cure for tinnitus I feel Jeff has given me the best solution for moving forward with minimum discomfort. He takes his position very seriously, is current with technology and understands all the products available in the market.   This is an excellent hearing aid center - the office is friendly and professional. I had the pleasure of seeing Jeff Kim HIS at the Advanced Hearing Aid Center, and he is great! Both of my hearing aids (ReSound LiNX Quattro) went through the tests and he explained everything that was going on. I felt at ease and I knew I was in good hands.   I had contacted Jeff in need of some hearing aid maintenance and hearing tests performed as it was years since seeing an audiologist.

Jeff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating with all of my needs. It is hard nowadays to find an audiologist who is up to date on all there is to know and that has multiple resources under their belt, I was extremely satisfied with my visit that Jeff and Advanced Hearing Glendora will now be my go to spot for all audiology and hearing aid needs!

  While searching for a hearing aid specialist I chose Advanced Hearing Aid Center do to fact they didn't have a 2 week waiting list. Jeff has got to be the greatest person I have ever dealt with in the medical care profession. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable in his field, he takes his time and really makes you feel that your hearing is as important to him as it is to you.   I have been going to Advance Hearing Aid Center in Glendora for several years. I have found Jeff to be very helpful in getting the right type of hearing aid when I needed my old one replaced. He explained in detail how the new one worked compared to the old one. I have been impressed by his level of service. I highly recommend him.

  My husband has been a patient of Dr. Kim's for over a year now and we have the highest regard for Dr. Kim and the Advanced Hearing Aid Center.  He has  always treated my husband with great care and compassion and has always guided us in the right area where my husband's hearing is concerned.
